Prince Gabriel of Belgium celebrates his 22nd birthday today! Prince Gabriel was born on August 20, 2003, in Anderlecht, and is the second child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium. To mark the occasion, the Royal Court released new photos of the Prince, taken by photographer Bas Bogaerts at the Palace of Laeken.Since August 22, 2022, Prince Gabriel has been studying Social and Military Sciences in Dutch at the Royal Military Academy (162nd Promotion). After the summer, Prince Gabriel will begin the fourth and final year of his degree. The Prince played the piano for several years. He is also a big sports fan and practices tennis, skiing, and sailing.
Gosh such a handsome young man, his suit fits him well. Beautiful little sister in a pretty dress.

ReplyDeleteHe is not only playing tennis, do skiing and sailing but as a young boy he also played hockey in a Brussels club. He had fractures on his ankles and feet 2 or 3 times and the doctors forbid him to play hockey any longer because they feared he would stay handicapped. There are pictures of him taken at the Christmas tree before or after the Christmas concert at the Royal Palace in Brussels were one can see him with a big bandage around his foot.
ReplyDeleteHe looks indeed like Queen Mathilde. Although there were tall kings among the Saxe-Cobourg, I think Prince Gabriel must have his length from his mother side since Queen Mathilde herself is a tall lady.

ReplyDeleteThat is 2 times good news from the Royal Family : Happy birthday for Prince Gabriel who is 22nd years already and CP Elisabeth who received her visum to return to Harvard University in September to continue her master. For the moment Mr. Trump didn't succeed in refusing foreign students not only at Harvard University but also at Columbia.
