On Saturday, August 30, 2025, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the 16th edition of the Royal Vintage Rally (Svenska Kungsrallyt) on the island of Öland. The biennial event celebrates vintage cars. As tradition dictates, the King and Queen drove the King’s Volvo PV60, a 1946 model. The Royal Rally was first held in 1997 to mark King Carl Gustaf’s 50th birthday. This year’s competition took place in central Öland, starting in Borgholm.
Oh doesn’t the king look dapper in his suit and bow tie. Lovely green jacket for the queen, perfect attire. Cool automobile, nice to see the king in his element.

ReplyDeleteThe king looks funny, his pants are too wide and his hat is too small. It must be one of his older suits. Normally he is dressed much better.
