King and Queen of Spain Visit Areas Affected by Wildfires in Extremadura

On August 29, 2025, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain visited the areas most affected by the recent wildfires in Extremadura. Their Majesties traveled to the towns of Rebollar in the Jerte Valley, Cabezabellosa in the Mancomunidad of Trasierra Tierras de Granadilla, and Hervás in the Ambroz Valley. They also met with victims of the Jarilla wildfire from different municipalities, who shared their experiences and needs.
