Queen Mary of Denmark opened the garden gate of Fredensborg Palace to TV host Søren Vester, who also has a passion for biodiversity. Speaking in the DR program Søren Vester’s Garden, Queen Mary said of the gardens at Fredensborg Palace: ‘It is a wonderful home for many insects, beetles, and fungi.’ In the royal couple’s large private garden at Fredensborg Palace, most things are allowed to grow freely — even the nettles.
The TV program Søren Vester’s Garden – Biodiversity and Palace Gardens can be viewed on www.dr.dk and will be broadcast on DR1 tonight, August 20, at 8:00 p.m. For the occasion, Danish Queen Mary wore a new 'Celia' embroidered long-sleeve top by Sea New York and 'Milo' braided caramel sandals by Michel Vivien Paris.

What a very beautiful blouse!
ReplyDeleteAgree! Quite beautiful!
DeleteA beautiful, relaxed Queen.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a beautiful design, undisturbed by too much of it (like: a whole dress) or by conflicting combinations. This wonderful top is the primaballerina of the ensemble, the "trouser-rock" and the (very nice) shoes are simple and restrained to allow such a rich pattern on the top.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mary is very boho-chic!
ReplyDeleteStunning relaxed outfit for Mary. I do wish that blouses in this fashion era were slightly longer in length as I think they would last longer into the fashion future. And this sort of blouse is surely one to keep and use for a long time to come!
ReplyDeleteMary's top is exquisite, and it is properly paired with the tan shorts that shows it off to it's best advantage. I also like her shoes.
ReplyDeleteI hope the show will be available online at a later date. I'd love to watch it.

DeleteTotally love this whole outfit on Queen Mary, even the culottes.

Queen Mary is such a people person and you can just tell she loves being Queen. What a beautiful blouse and the intricate detail is exquisite and makes me feel like I am in a summer garden. I can smell the flowers!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I can tell she likes being queen not knowing her but do know she was schooled in how to present herself for the role.
DeleteTrès joli ce haut brodé dans des couleurs pastel subtilement associé à ce short estival ; bon choix que ces sandales stressées dont j'adore la couleur camel !
ReplyDeleteWow such a nice summer outfit, casual yet very elegant.right down to her shoes.
ReplyDeleteOups, lire « tressées » !!
ReplyDeleteI want this top! It's absolutely gorgeous. It's a piece of art that you could treasure forever. Looks great dressed up or down with jeans. Sea New York deserves an award for this one.
ReplyDeleteCasual , but she looks quite at ease and fitting for this occasion. I liked the "boho chic" comment.
ReplyDeleteLove this blouse.
