Zweireiher auf Reisen oder in zu viel Bewegung ist immer eine unglückliche und auch unbequeme Wahl. Bei Prinz Daniel zieht das "Knöpfchen" den kompletten Sinn aus der Form, ein helleres Sakko wäre viel jugendlicher und angenehmer. Bei Prinzessin Victoria ist das Kleid ganz o. k. aber auch hier ist dieser Blazer zu viel. Ich denke mir was für eine schöne Frau auch ein schönes Paar, warum lebt sie ihr schönes Alter mit Kleidung nicht schwungvoller aus? Sie zeigt doch ab und an, das sie es viel besser kann, fehlt ihr da Beratung? Aber vielleicht mag sie sich auch so leiden, ihre Schwester und Schwägerin machen es doch vor wie es besser geht. -Dorothe-

The lady in the brown suit also looks very good in her choice of suit - if only she could have the trousers taken up to sit at a good length and not be dragging on the ground (dear Trend-Creators, the overly long hems on trousers do not look cool, they look extremely messy and bring down the rest of the artistry in your designs).

ReplyDeleteA nice dress with movement and not tight. I see she rolled up her sleeves on the jacket which is a good length despite showing the lining. The length of the jacket is good, perhaps a less boxy cut would suit better, but she made it work. Inlike that she wore pumps to keep the proportions open.

ReplyDeleteAlmost the same too long dress she wore on August 11 for the Advisory council meeting with the king. I prefer this one but still find it a style that is too old for CP Victoria. She should try to dress herself younger. It is not in 10 years that she must start to dress younger. If she doesn't do it now she will never do any effort any more to look younger.

DeleteLooking younger should start with a more attractive hair style. We have commented it at length, however in vain. Today's dress is ok. She re-wears her suits and evening gowns, however rather rarely her day dresses. Some were quite nice.
Delete19:59 has made an excellent comeback to a nonsense comment … why dear 18:27 should Victoria “dress herself younger”?!?! Let people be the age they are, be proud of the experience the years bring, to look as they look. Victoria looks fabulous here.
DeleteYes hairstyle too can be done better. @ 19:59 you agree the dress is too long. A dress that is too long is always looking too old for the wearer. The only women who are looking good in longer dresses are those who are very tall. Also the choice of colors and style can make somebody look older than she really is. I have nothing against navy, and prints with navy but wear that style when you are 60 not 40. CP Victoria has beautiful clothes in colors which suit her better. Unfortunately we don't see her often with those dresses. This year she is wearing less the little flowers style which is an improvement, but sometimes she cannot resist to buy new dresses in that old style like the one she is wearing here and that she was wearing on August 11. In the meantime the flowers became a bit bigger but why buying twice almost the same dress in navy and white fabric with flowers. That is how I see it and I can understand that other commenters see it differently, but that is how it is.

You are very confused as to what looks old and what looks professional.
Princess Victoria has to look top professional on a number of occasions and this depends on the type of event and the people she has to meet with.
This is the case.
A dress which is a tad longer than it should be is no way "old".
It seems to me that all of your comments on most posts are meant to "row against" the royal involved and the general feedback from the readers.
I get the impression that you want to stir the pot intentionally just to have your five minutes' attention but this is no good route to go.
Every royal moves in a precise context and performs a specif duty on a specific day.
Everything has been accurately planned in advance to make It work , including the clothing styles we all can see in the pics.
If Victoria had come up dressed in a
"younger" way , you would have scolded her for wanting to look like someone "going to the beach".
Whenever Q.Rania happens to don a youthful attire, you bash her for the opposite reason, that is wanting to look younger than her real age.
If Q Maxima and her daughters have pictures taken inside an Orthodox Church in Spetses and honour the country they are holidaying in through typically Greek ensembles, you reproach them for a number of reasons , also bringing up the weak point according to which " they are humans, not Gods".
Of course, they are humans simply honoring a country and its traditions.
And the King of the Netherlands has to look more professional while taking part in a sports event, but seriously?!!

All in all , the only "old" thing I can spot in your comments is your way of always repeating yourself like a broken record.
You are doing it again P. you are mixing different comments by different commenters and you think it is always the same person. Well you are completely wrong. In your list of accusations you even put topics on which I didn't react at all, plus topics on which I just explained the opposite and defended the royal customs of a country and people I know better than you do. People on this blog are starting to have enough of your long sermons.
DeleteThe blaser is very well taylored and swinging. The dress makes me think about all those boring and too long print dresses of the duchess of edinburgh. Victoria a beautiful lady and very friendly. She could do so much better.

Ich denke auch die Prinzessin könnte sich jugendlicher kleiden. Damit ist aber sicher nicht gemeint, das sie Mädchenkleider, Rüschen, pink oder übertriebene Kleidung haben soll, das man das Gefühl bekommen könnte, das sie sich auf für immer jung stylen soll. Jedes Alter hat seine Vorzüge, aber wozu Kleidung wählen, die man auch noch in 30 Jahren tragen kann. Baum und Pferdgarten z. B. zeigt Kleider die einfach ein gewisses jugendliches Extra haben, ich denke so ist das auch gedacht wenn man hier sagt, sie kleidet sich zu alt. -Dorothe-
