Can you tell me what they have worn in Catalunya, where the monarchy is not very "easy" welcome? Probably you are speaking about the Princesa of Asturias awards, which are in October..this is the Princess of Girona awards in Barcelona.

Strange comment anon 22:22. It takes effort to coordinate their outfits and to get the right level of formality for the event. As anon 7:44 says, this is not the Princess of Asturias Awards, which is formal.

      Polyamide (80 %) et acétate (20%).
Les trois tenues sont belles et élégantes.
Leonor est très jolie avec son chignon.

I know it is the custom in the Spanish RF but the black color for the royal ladies doesn't appeal to me. The ceremony is looking like a funeral.
The outfits of the princesses are fitting good, the queen's outfit is fitting a bit better than the grey one.

Actually at funerals no one wears black nowadays in Spain and most of them are not even religious.

In my country people are no longer wearing black at funerals either (religious or not), but when a funeral takes place in a royal family they still wear black. All the royals wore black at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II of the U.K. (I am not not British). If there will be a funeral in another royal family in the future you will see that every other royal who is attending will wear black.

Leonor's suit is in navy as well.

It needs to be repeated every so often here that black is not only a mourning color. That is a very old fashioned idea. Black is everything from formal to edgy to modern to mournful. Black is an everyday color for many people.

The Royal lady's should really up their game, because the Spanish King is definitely the best dressed and most attractive male royal.

Since when it is forbidden to say that a king or a prince looks good. Many comments in the past said that King Felipe's suits were impeccable and that he is a very attractive man. Nobody told us in the past that it was forbidden to say that from a king. All the comments which said they found King Frederick of Denmark an attractive man with his beard never have been told they could not say that.

A lot of the commenters seem to forget that at this occasion, it is the awardees who should get the most attention. The royals' outfit is absolutely festive, showing respect for the occasion and the awardees, but at the same time humble, as it should be, when it is not them who stand in the limelight.

Absolutely agree. These royal ladies looks both elegant and modest in their attires. Princess Leonore seems to be developing her own graceful look in fashion, which suits her beautifully for an heir to the throne. Well done!!
