On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the exhibition “Nachtreis” (Nocturnal Journey) by Hans Op de Beeck at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA). Hans Op de Beeck is a multidisciplinary artist known for his sculptures, large-scale installations, drawings, and both video and animated films. In 2023, to mark the tenth anniversary of the King’s reign, he also created the busts of the King and Queen, which have since been on display at the Palace of the Nation.
J’aime beaucoup sa paire d’escarpins beige. Elle est en harmonie avec sa robe ainsi que sa pochette.

This is a decent dress. Not one of the old drapes patterns we seen.
ReplyDeleteShe looks much younger!

The queen looks very nice in this dress, love the earrings too. I would like the shirt dress in the first photo if the hem had been even., though it looks like it would be cool to wear.
ReplyDeleteThe simple off-white colour, followed through in the earrings, is lovely on Mathilde and a refreshing change. The bodice design is modern and pretty. Too bad about the ruching across her stomach. It's not just that this section is too tight. The designer has produced a difficult look which the majority of women would struggle to pull off. Lyra.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful outfit. It fits well. Love the colour of her accessories
