On July 20, 2025, Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte received the Gråsten Ringrider Association’s parade at Gråsten Palace. The annual parade began at Gråsten Riding School and ended at the Ring Riding Grounds, where participants competed in the traditional ring riding competition.
Each year, the parade includes both riders on horseback and children on bicycles. As is tradition, the procession passed by Gråsten Palace, where Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte greeted the many participants. The participants brought flowers for Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness.

Since King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid received Gråsten Palace as a wedding gift in 1935, it has served as the royal family's summer residence. For just as long, it has been a tradition for the Gråsten Ringrider Association to pass by the palace during the annual parade and greet the royal family.
Two lovely ladies wearing two lovely dresses! Add to that a sunny morning or afternoon, and an enjoyable parade meeting the locals and you have a perfect summers day.

ردحذفHow wonderful to see these two lovely ladies! Queen Margrethe looks marvelous in her pretty summer white dress and she's accessorized her dress with red--always flying the Danish flag. PB is wearing a pretty dress that is perfectly fitted but I'm not crazy about the color. Both look elegant in these simple summer dresses.
