On July 27, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a high mass at Visby Saint Mary’s Cathedral (Visby Sankta Maria domkyrka) to celebrate its 800th anniversary. The cathedral was originally inaugurated on July 27, 1225, by Bishop Bengt of Linköping. The cathedral was not originally built as a cathedral, but as a church for the German traders who visited Visby during the 13th century. For the occasion, the Crown Princess wore a floral print dress by Camilla Thulin.[ads id="ads1"]
