On July 6, 2025, Princess Alexandra of Hanover and Ben Sylvester Strautmann attended the Summer Ball (Bal d'Été) at the Museum of Decorative Arts (MAD) in Paris, marking the beginning of Couture Week in the French capital. The fundraising event also commemorated the centenary of the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts.
The soirée was hosted by Sofia Coppola, who was announced as its Artistic Director last year. Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the exhibition 1925–2025: One Hundred Years of Art Deco, opening on October 22. For the evening, Princess Alexandra wore a maxi dress from Chanel's Spring 2022 Haute Couture collection, paired with white gold and diamond earrings by Cartier.

i like her hair this way, much fuller. the dress is beautiful but does not do her justice. i wonder if there is a wedding annoucement, Ben has been accompaning her alot lately.
ReplyDeleteThey are together since a couple of years maybe more.
DeleteA classy looking and age appropriate dress.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if an updo and lower sitting necklace would have elevated
the overall look.
Cate.
My thoughts as well
DeleteA very nice dress, it fits her well. There is something about the whole look that imo could improve. A different hair style, different necklace, I know they can wear their hair how ever they want but it doesn’t necessarily enhance your features.
DeletePretty little girl!
ReplyDeleteNot too bad for a Chanel dress but much too old for a young woman.
