King Felipe and Queen Sofía Receive the Executive Committee of FESBAL

On July 18, 2025, King Felipe and Queen Sofía received the Executive Committee of the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, on the occasion of the organization's 30th anniversary. Since its founding, FESBAL and its member food banks have worked to ensure food access for people in vulnerable situations throughout Spain.

Queen Sofía, through her Foundation, actively collaborates with FESBAL on several projects and agreements. Since 2012, the Queen Sofía Foundation has provided the food bank network with more than one million liters of juice and milk, as well as thousands of kilograms of baby food. The Foundation has also supported improvements to facilities, vehicles, and essential equipment for the storage and distribution of perishable fresh food.
