At the invitation of President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan are paying a State Visit to Mongolia. On July 8, 2025, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako attended a state banquet hosted by President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh and First Lady Luvsandorj Bolortsetseg at a hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako visited the Mongolia-Japan Hospital of MNUMS in Ulaanbaatar, where they met with Japanese residents living in Mongolia. Afterwards, Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako visited Mongolia Kosen Technical College and Ulaanbaatar City School.
Both outfits look good. Beautiful kimono dress and great looking longer striped jacket. They both look very relaxed, the emperor without a tie 👍
ReplyDeleteYes I agree, no tie a surprise. Lovely couple
DeletePeu importe si Masako est vêtue d'un kimono ou d'une longue veste bleu marine rayée de blanc, elle est superbe ; j'aime bien voir son époux quand il ne porte pas de cravate !
ReplyDeleteThe Empress outfits are lovely especially when the emperor coordinates his tie with her outfit. The kimono is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteEmpress Masako embraces that quiet elegance in her poise and everything she wears. But she also keeps it fresh and in style with that great blazer and trouser combination. Superb.
ReplyDeleteTry to look for a YT clip of the state dinner. There you will see the Emperor give a violin recital accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of Mongolia who were present at the event, for all the guests and his hosts. He plays the violin really well, and Empress Masako looked so proud of him. Talented man.
ReplyDeleteLove both of Masako's outfits. Her kimono is beautiful, and the striped navy jacket with white trousers is an elegant look. I like that the jacket is a longer length than a traditional blazer.

Delete皇后陛下はフルートを、愛子内親王殿下はチェロを演奏されます。
@Anon 03:35 Thank you for that information. That is so nice to know. I wish we could get a chance to see the Empress and P.Aiko play, or even all three of them playing together.

Wow! HM looks sublime in her kimono. So elegant and beautifully tailored.
ReplyDeleteIt such a treat to see her in less formal attire. I love the jacket with the white trouser.
HM really is such an elegant and graceful lady.
