  1. Both outfits look good. Beautiful kimono dress and great looking longer striped jacket. They both look very relaxed, the emperor without a tie 👍

  2. Peu importe si Masako est vêtue d'un kimono ou d'une longue veste bleu marine rayée de blanc, elle est superbe ; j'aime bien voir son époux quand il ne porte pas de cravate !

The Empress outfits are lovely especially when the emperor coordinates his tie with her outfit. The kimono is very pretty.

Empress Masako embraces that quiet elegance in her poise and everything she wears. But she also keeps it fresh and in style with that great blazer and trouser combination. Superb.

Try to look for a YT clip of the state dinner. There you will see the Emperor give a violin recital accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of Mongolia who were present at the event, for all the guests and his hosts. He plays the violin really well, and Empress Masako looked so proud of him. Talented man.

Love both of Masako's outfits. Her kimono is beautiful, and the striped navy jacket with white trousers is an elegant look. I like that the jacket is a longer length than a traditional blazer.

@Anon 03:35 Thank you for that information. That is so nice to know. I wish we could get a chance to see the Empress and P.Aiko play, or even all three of them playing together.

    写真の4枚目。着物の袖に描かれている小さな丸い模様は、天皇家の家紋の菊の花です。

Wow! HM looks sublime in her kimono. So elegant and beautifully tailored.
It such a treat to see her in less formal attire. I love the jacket with the white trouser.
HM really is such an elegant and graceful lady.
