Mathilde looks beautiful in her red dress.
Perfect accessories and her hair appears quite youthful.
Lovely to see the chivalry of the two princes.

  5. Wouah, quelles magnifiques couleurs vives mais c'est la robe de Mathilde qui a ma préférence en comparaison à la combinaison de celle d'hier soir !

With the greens and red it could be Christmas. Mathilde’s dress is dreamy perfection by itself (full credit to the designer and tailor) and on her. Such a beautiful shade of red. Love the hat although can’t quite see the details of it in this set of pics.

  7. I think Mathilde's dress is lovely. The style is very flattering, the red colour is vibrant and the lace on the top of the bodice and hemline is a touch of elegance. As for Elisabeth's dress, the neon green is too harsh and bright. It's hard on the eyes. I prefer the more subdued green of her sister's dress. The DVF style is also beautiful.

Look again to picture 9, which shows what I expect is the true colour, a beautiful green. The other photos do show the green as neon but I think it’s the camera’s capture not the reality.

I don’t think Elisabeth’s dress is really neon. The green looks brighter in some lighting, but that’s what makes it interesting, it changes with the light. In softer light, it comes off as a fresh spring green instead of something harsh. That kind of color shift makes the dress stand out, especially with its smooth style. I think that play of light gives it a unique look instead of being too bold.

Oh I love the green dress of PE, It’s such a soft, flowy, young dress in a beautiful green. Both boys are looking really handsome. PElenore is such a pretty young lady.

The ladies: elegant and chic; the family: closeknit, harmonious, wonderful.

I like Eleonore's dress best. Style and ruching are very nice on her, simple, beautiful cut, nice colour. But Elisabeth ... while the dress is a toxic green, failing to please me, the hair thing is a terrible colour on the other extreme, a bit like her hair colour, almost no contrast there. I also don't get the deeper sense of the transparent fluff over the dress proper, of which we see very little because of said fluff. Hair thing and big earrings are a case of too much. This is a complete fail in my book. Mathilde looks good, but I have to admit: if fiery red, I would be happier with less lace. And no lace at the hemline. Also kind of too much.

Eleonore’s look is elegant and understated, and it suits her beautifully. But I have to defend Elisabeth a bit. While the green shade may feel harsh at first glance, I think its tonal shifts in different lighting give it depth and interest. That sheer overlay adds a layer of softness and movement. As for the accessories, they do stand out, but I see them more as playful rather than excessive.

I totally agree with you. Princess Eleonore's dress has nice tailoring which flatters her figure.

The Queen and her daughters look beautiful in their dresses. I especially love the color of the DVF dress worn by Eleonore. Queen Mathilde looks beautiful and elegant in her red lace dress--this shade of red is perfect for her. Elisabeth has chosen a rather daring color with her neon green dress. I like her dress and I am glad she chose neutral accessories as they look best. Eleonore looks smashing in her dress--the color is wonderful on her. I love the detail at the hem. What a beautiful family!

I don't care for any of these dresses but overall the family looks nice. Just not my style. I do not like the hem of QM dress on anyone and this dress looks large or makes her look large. I don't like either of the girls dresses. The DVF is just boring IMO and I don't care for the color. PE bright green/yellow number is bright but the cape is unnecessary and isn't flattering. The gold accents in the headband and earrings do nothing for this dress and don't coordinate well at all. Usually I think QM looks impeccable but this particular event is a miss all around for me. Sorry!

Good to read I'm not the only one not particularly caring for any of the dresses. And indeed also I feel the golden accents as worn by CPE don't elevate her look.

I suspect that these photos have been filtered, which is why the colours are appearing as they are on these pages: Q.Mathilde and P.Elisabeth way too bright and P.Eleonore a decent colour green. I've seen other images elsewhere on social media and the colours are much less bright and so much better for QM and CPE, with the exception of P.Eleonore whose dress then becomes a dull green.
I don't really like any of the styles of dresses on the people wearing them especially QM and CPE (the dresses would look better on different people). If I had to choose a best dress it would be P.Eleonore only because of the simplicity of the dress and the perfect fit on her, but even she could have worn something lovlier.

I do like the head piece P.Elisabeth is wearing it blends with her hair colour and the earrings add a bit of colour. The green looks softer in some photos and Eleanor’s seems to be teal.

I like HMQ in red,it’s a flattering color on her. The style also flatters her. The design is similar to a dress she wore a few years ago,the previous dress was more fitted,if memory serves me.
I’m not too taken with the neon green dress worn by CP Elisabeth. It does nothing for her. She’s fair skinned so the shade of green washes her out.
Pss Eleanor is growing into a very beautiful young lady. I think she favours Queen Paola. She looks very pretty in her dress.
The men all look suave and dapper in uniform and tails.

Elisabeth's dress is a hideous color. Her headband and earrings are also unattractive.

I must say the King and Queen have done a great job raising then 4 young children some of them adults now. Great dresses for the occasion, just one tiny thing, not keen on the lime green dress of Elisabeth.
