The Prince and Princess of Wales have released a new portrait of their son, Prince George, to mark his 12th birthday

The Prince and Princess of Wales have released a new portrait of their son, Prince George of Wales, to mark his 12th birthday. The caption accompanying the photo read: 'Happy 12th Birthday to Prince George!' The portrait was taken by photographer Josh Shinner in Norfolk.

Prince George was born on 22 July 2013 at St Mary's Hospital in London. He has been attending Lambrook School in Berkshire since September 2022 and is expected to move to a new school in 2026.

    That first pic is horrible out of focus but, he seems like a great young man in a loving family. I hope he had a happy birthday. How time flies.

      For the birthday there was the photo on the Wales Family Instagram channel, which is also shown here, and then a video. i believe that what you are criticising is a still from the video.

    I stand corrected. That first photo is actually a still image from a video. No wonder it seemed out of focus.
