On June 19, 2025, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus visited Kadettangen in Bærum for the official launch of the Red Cross’s summer preparedness campaign. Kadettangen is a small peninsula located outside Sandvika in Bærum. The Hurum, Asker, and Bærum branches of the Norwegian Red Cross were present at the event.
Upon their arrival, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus were welcomed by the Mayor of Bærum, Lisbeth Hammer Krog, and Red Cross President Siri Hatlen. At the event, the Princess and Prince observed demonstrations by Red Cross volunteers, including drone-based search and rescue, water rescues, and CPR training. This marked the first official engagement undertaken jointly by the royal siblings.
Norways’s future is in good hands with these two. Nice to see them out together, supporting each other in their roles.
ReplyDeleteit was about time too! this is Sverre Magnus's first engagement of some sort
DeleteNot quite true, Prince Sverre Magnus had his first solo engagement in late May this year, meeting up with those who will compete (and their support staff) for Norway at the Special Olympics World Games this year
DeleteC'est un vrai plaisir que de voir le duo en visite ; le prince Sverre Magnus est devenu un charmant jeune homme !
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasure to see this joint engagement from Pss Ingrid Alexandra and her brother!
ReplyDeleteThis young lady will make a marvellous future Queen.
She looks so determined, a tough girl I dare say, and perfectly at ease in her current role.
She is a true beauty.
P. Sverre Magnus is handsome as well and the best support she could have.
What counts most, this is a remarkable visit.
Well done.
Very lovely to see these siblings having an engagement together. They look very natural and relaxed, surely having a good time.
