On June 20, 2025, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the closing ceremony of the 2024/2025 academic year at the College of Europe, held in celebration of the institution’s 75th anniversary. The event took place at the Royal Municipal Theatre of Bruges, Belgium.
Prior to the ceremony, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia held an informal meeting in the Foyer Hall with Spanish students of the College, as well as with students attending Spanish classes organized by the Instituto Cervantes.
The ceremony began with a musical performance of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, performed by Silvia Márquez and Francesc Torres. Students from over 50 nationalities study at the College of Europe. The most represented countries include France, Spain (with more than thirty students), Italy, Belgium, and Germany.
The College of Europe has a campus located in the historic center of Bruges, consisting of several heritage buildings dedicated to administration, classes, and student services. It also operates seven student residences across the city. In addition, the College has campuses in Natolin (Warsaw, Poland) and Tirana (Albania).
I love Carolina Herrera designs, she hits the mark on this dress. Feminine, nice sleeves suggesting alittle balloon shape. Fit in proportion to her size.
ReplyDeleteNow the wide long pants, not the best look, hopefully it will end soon and they can all have them altered for a nice fit. Gosh this king is handsome and his clothes fit perfect all the time,
This soft, feminine look with the harmonious colours is much more flattering than the trouser suits the queen seems to fancy. I never realised that the king is so tall, but this photo makes it very visible.

This dress is lovely. The colour is great, and the styling flattering and elegant. The length is fine for the lower heeled shoes Queen Letizia is forced to wear. There are some lovely dresses among the students in the final photo
