Agree . An elegant look as opposed to the ghastly clingy things that some celebrities have chosen recently. This, including the style of shoes and bag, looks like an outfit my mother and her contemporaries wore in the 1950s.

I do not like black shoes and a black handbag with a cotton summer dress.
The shoes remind me of my grandmother's. Perhaps this shoe type is fashion again too. The female Grimaldi's (except Princess Charlene) wear often shoes which are looking really old fashion.

Maybe because she is pregnant the shoes are more comfortable?

Yes 13:19 definitely a retro styling on the shoes. I really like them and think they are probably from the era of our grandmas or mums in early 20s. Agree with you that the black shoes are a bit stark with a soft summer dress. I think I would have preferred any other colour than the black.

  3. She looks very beautiful. Perhaps the dress could be less pale but it suits her. I like her shoes, I would prefere lighter colour like the lilies. The shoes are looking very comfortable too. (Very nice to see a real lady after having watched photos of the wedding guests of the Bezos. Of course I'm talking about their dresses... 😅).

This maternity dress is stunning, but I'm not fond of the black shoes and handbag.

    I agree with you Anon 13: 19.
A lovely summery maternity dress ruined by the black handbag and shoes.

Agree, money doesn’t buy you style. This outfit is just weird.

Ok dress, but the rest is something QE2 would have worn…

Sí, estoy totalmente de acuerdo con el punto de vista anterior.Con unas alpargatas con tacón nude y un capazo elegante hubiese quedado muco más estiloso.

I like this dress, the cuffed sleeve, pretty print. Seems like it would be a very comfortable dress to wear. Shoes do seem to be designed with straps and lower heels, comfortable rather than elegant.

Oh I find them very elegant. They’re very narrow and with heels so I don’t think they’d be particularly comfortable and I think she wore them for style.

@Anon 14:54, google those shoes. They are eminently elegant, just not towering high heels. Which would be nice as a new trend, for a change.

Yes, anon 21:53, these shoes are very elegant. They are Dior, naturally. Styles always cycle back around. They do remind me of what my mother would have worn when I was a girl, and I love them!

  8. Toujours aussi belle Beatrice dans cette robe en coton très estivale ; pour les chaussures, je ne peux pas dire qu'elles soient vraiment démodées mais elles paraissent confortables pour compléter son look de maternité !

Black shoes are an evergreen, elegant in every season and give a simple cotton dress the last finishing touch of elegance. I love Beatrice's shoes. The bag is the same from Dior that Queen Camille wore in white to Ascot. The pumps are new from Dior and this heel style would be highly welcome for a comeback, nicer than cat heels and better for feet and back and balance than high heels. She looks beautiful as always.

What a difference a real aristocratic elegance makes. As opposed to in-your-face new money parade of tasteless revealing outfits.

Let us not forget that Queen Elizabeth wore black shoes most of the time and always looked smart. In this case I would have preferred DARK BLUE, a traditional colour for summer, still used in Mediterranean countries and France, especially for children‘s shoes. Beatrice Borromeo‘s outfit, dress and accessories, seems to be a a studied revival look, very elegant, as also observed by CH.

      @ Virginia
With all respect but, Queen Elizabeth wore black shoes most of the time when she was already old. Not the exemple young women are following.
Dark blue can only be worn with "dark blue, navy, white, white and navy," or a dress in one color like yellow, pink, .... I must say one do not see much dark blue shoes in the summer collections. A lot of beige, off-white or cream, also red, green, very light pink, etc... Since there is no blue in the print of her dress, I don't think she could wear dark blue shoes with it.

Beatrice is such a beautiful elegant lady. She’s glowing in these photos. I love the dress. It looks pretty and perfectly comfortable for pregnancy, with the draw rope midriff section.
Dior really has been knocking it out the park with the RF of Europe. I have to say,I much prefer their style to Chanel and OdR.

Without any doubt the most beautiful woman of the Grimaldi/Casiraghi family! She is stunning and it comes to her naturally.
