On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Zara Tindall attended the fifth and final day of the 2025 MARS Badminton Horse Trials at the Badminton Estate in Gloucestershire. During the event, she received the Armada Dish award, which was presented by the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort. The Badminton Horse Trials are known as one of the toughest and most exciting equestrian events. Zara wore a blue cropped jacket by Fairfax & Favor for the occasion.

An unfortunate attire. This type of jeans is all wrong for Zara and for this jacket, it makes her shorter and bulkier. The jacket is not a good fit, the sleeves are pulled when she moves. It's a pity, becase she is in a very good form, and those colors really work for her.

حذفShe is an equestrian so being about horses is what she does. She also supports a number of charities — you can find information on the internet. Of relevance to this site, although today’s outfit doesn’t demonstrate it, she often brings a touch of much needed fashion interest/glamour to royal occasions.

حذفThough I really hate this type of multi-pocketed jackets, I acknowledge that not everybody feels like this towards them. So while I don't like the outfit, neither the clash of the two blue hues, it does not make her look bulky (what she is not) nor short (what she is also not). She is quite her own un-short and un-bulky self, unfortunately in a casual, but not really nice outfit.
ردحذفI also do not like these multi pocketed jackets, especially the placement. It is not becoming where everything aligns. Blue hues don’t match, jeans are okay, she is walking in grass so they are not dragging.
حذفMaybe "boxie" is a better term to "bulky?" I understand and agree with the poster who says it makes her look "bulky" (again, maybe not the right word but I get the descriptive). The color and cut of the jacket in combination with the color and cut of the jeans - straight-leg, short cut - is not complimenting her figure. Her waist and legs are not defined and the gap between the hem of the jeans and shoes, although minimal, truncates the vertical line of her body. If she had worn a tapered or skinny jean in a darker shade of indigo (similar to the shade on the model) with a slightly longer inseam, her overall look would have been much more flattering. Even with her hair pulled back in this horrible "pigtail," wet from the rain, and with minimal makeup on, she still would have looked pretty good.

Il me semble que la combinaison du mannequin est réussie.
De mon point de vue, ce type de veste est meilleure ouverte ; fermée ainsi, elle donne un air masculin.
Outre cela, ce type de pantalon est mieux mis en valeur avec des escarpins ; et difficilement avec une paire de tennis.
Néanmoins, c’est toujours un plaisir de la voir.

I agree with Zofia, lovely jacket but with a darker jeans and styled like on the model (brown leather belt, white T-shirt) it is much better. These jackets are very fashionable for the moment. I've seen them in the collections of several other brands too.

The lady with the pale blue coat looks lovely. Nice coat. As for Zara, her clothing and hairstyle choices do absolutely nothing for me.
