As the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA), Queen Máxima is making a working visit to the Republic of South Africa from May 20 to 22. Her three-day visit is taking place in the cities of Cape Town and Johannesburg. On the second day of her visit, Queen Máxima attended the G20 Responsible Finance Forum (RFF) at the Maslow Hotel in Johannesburg.

If you click on the last picture to make it bigger, you will see that her earrings have the shape of upside down tulips, decorated with little dark spots.
The earings are modelled after flowers called fritillaria and are beautiful. She looks truly elegant

My thoughts as well. The excessive fabric of the sleeves or cape I find is competing with itself. But a lovely colour for her

ReplyDeleteDie Königin Maxima, sieht frisch und hübsch aus. Auch hier diese Hosenbeine, da lasse ich die königlichen Damen alleine mit ihrem Look. Scheinbar sehen sie sich selbst nicht, sonst würden sie sich vielleicht anders entscheiden. Zu ihrem Zweireiher in blau zuvor, manchmal regt es mich fast schon auf, das scheinbar niemand einen Blick für das wesentliche hat, auch bei Männern. Das Sacco in blau hätte nur ein Knöpfchen versetzt werden müssen, die Jacke würde anders fallen und so sieht es aus, einfach angezogen und keiner hatte es gesehen. Passform geht anders.

C'est pratiquement la même tenue que portait la reine Mathilde le 15 mai et qui a fait l'unanimité ici car tout le monde a apprécié. Je vais écrire la même chose que le 15 pour Mathilde : j'aime bien la couleur et la tunique, mais pas ce pantalon trop large. Paloma.

DeleteIl y a quand même une différence entre la tunique portée par la reine Maxima et celle de la reine Mathilde. Les manches chez Mathilde sont moins large et il n'y a pas de cape dans le dos. Les pantalons sont larges, mais j'ai l'impression que le pantalon de Maxima est plus large que chez Mathilde. La couleur est légèrement différente aussi. La tenue de la reine Mathilde est plus saumon rose tandis que celle de la reine Maxima est saumon rouge. Mais cela est peut être à cause d'une différence de lumière. Beaucoup de femmes n'aiment pas ces pantalons (moi-même je ne suis pas trop fan non plus). Mais je pense que celles qui ont l'habitude de les porter aiment bien la fluidité et le comfort de porter ces pantalons.
The colour of the clothing is nice and the bag and earrings are very nice accessories. I like the style of the neckline but the tailoring is simply not good. The balance of the outfit has so much fabric it's hard to tell what the style is meant to be.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous look; this outfit could (and some might say “should”?) easily be elegant evening wear, with the right jewelry and clutch. I don’t mind when a woman opts out of the standard business pantsuit for something equally modest but more of a treat to look at. — Jane
