On May 6, 2025, Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended a scientific symposium at KU Leuven to mark the 20th anniversary of a research project on cancer and pregnancy. Since 2005, researchers and doctors at KU Leuven have been studying the effects of cancer treatment during pregnancy on the health and development of children.
The KU Leuven research team is currently monitoring a significant number of children in Belgium and the Netherlands. These children regularly undergo clinical and psychological assessments to determine whether their development aligns with that of their peers. Queen Mathilde has followed the progress of this research project since its inception.
Très belle jupe imprimée mais pourquoi donc sa taille monte t-elle si haut ?!
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde in her ikat skirt she has since 2022. The top is different than the other red one she wore today for the Opening session of the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition. When you look at the red tops she wore with the ikat skirt in the past, you can see she has at least 3 or 4 different red tops. I don't know which skirt looks better. I think they are equally beautiful. I also like Queen Mathilde's hair lately. Could it be the work of that new hair dresser, who works for the Royal Family in Laeken since the beginning of this year (he became fournisseur de la cour).
ReplyDeleteThis red on Mathilde is gorgeous, as are the red shoes, and the pattern of the skirt material is lush. I wonder if it would have looked even better for her to have worn the red top untucked, to balance out the high waist a little . - Mary
ReplyDeleteThis may be a nice outfit on others, but the Queen doesn't have the proper proportions to wear this high waisted skirt. I like the softer, longer hairstyle, but she looks tired in one of the photos - or maybe just bored. I think she looks better in one piece straight sheath dresses . Go back and do the comparison.
ReplyDeleteCrystal clear No from me, as clear as the Yes was for that glorious red dress the other day. That one was as if especially created for her figure, this one against it.
ReplyDeleteAgain another beautiful blouse and skirt combination. Queen Mathilde looks wonderful again--very beautiful in red. I also love this much softer hairstyle she's been wearing for several months now--it's very flattering on her.
