Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Oscar Visit Södra Djurgården

Prince Oscar and Crown Princess Victoria met with Jessica Åström from WWF at Djurgården

On the International Day for Biological Diversity, May 22, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Oscar visited Södra Djurgården (southern Djurgården) in Stockholm to observe birds and other wildlife. Early in the morning, before school started, Prince Oscar and the Crown Princess met with Jessica Åström from WWF at Djurgården.

Equipped with binoculars, they observed birds and other wildlife at Isbladskärret. Species they spotted included the starling, nightingale, goosander, coot, moorhen, heron, crow, blackbird, white wagtail, blackcap, Roman snail, and northern lapwing. The visit was part of the International Day for Biological Diversity, observed annually on May 22.

    Prince Oscar is such a lovely little boy, dressed like any other kid going to school. I like CP Victoria's rain parka. What kind of little animal Oscar is holding in his hand ?
