On May 16, 2025, Princess Caroline of Hanover, also known as Princess of Monaco, attended a performance by the Ballets de Monte-Carlo at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana, where the company premiered the piece Core Meu. Upon her arrival, the Princess was welcomed by Jean-Christophe Maillot, the director and choreographer of the Monte-Carlo Ballet.
This marked the second visit of the Principality of Monaco’s ballet company to Cuba. Princess Caroline also accompanied the company during their previous visit in 2015. Ballets de Monte-Carlo is a classical dance company composed of 50 dancers, originally founded in 1936 and revived in 1985 through the initiative of Princess Caroline.
For the event at the National Theater, Princess Caroline wore a simple yet elegant outfit: a short-sleeved Batik Diamond-print dress with a collar and vertical buttons down the front, from Muzungu Sisters — the fashion company co-founded by her daughter-in-law, Tatiana Casiraghi. She completed the look with a black Chanel shoulder bag.
