Casino de Monte-Carlo hosted an event to pay tribute to French painter and sculptor Marcel Duchamp, marking the 100th anniversary of his work Obligation pour la roulette de Monte-Carlo. Prince Albert and Princess Caroline, joined by Princess Alexandra and Ben-Sylvester Strautmann, attended the event held in the Salle Blanche of the Casino de Monte-Carlo.
To mark the centenary of the work, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, in collaboration with the Prince’s Palace of Monaco and the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, presented Obligation pour la roulette de Monte-Carlo by Marcel Duchamp — a pioneering 20th-century artist and inventor of the “readymade.” Duchamp first created this work in the winter of 1924–25 with the intention of financing his bold financial concept.
Quel élégant modèle de robe qui sied à merveille à Caroline ; dommage que je ne vois pas mieux la broche qu'elle a épinglée !
ReplyDeleteCaroline and Albert have been hanging out together lately, good sibling relations.
ReplyDeleteAlex looks good in her summer dress, different shoes would have been great. Caroline has a youthful glow to her today
Beautiful and flattering dress from Chanel. Caroline looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery nice dresses on both ladies. P Caroline suits this type of cut. Cute button embellishment on the back of the dress. Her hair looks especially nice in these photos, perhaps it is the side part
ReplyDeletePr. Caroline looks lovely and confident in her signature Chanel designer. However, I would have preferred it to be a couple inches shorter. Longer may be trendy for now, but not necessarily as flattering.

Mother and daughter look lovely. I really like the red dress Alexandra is wearing.
