On May 13, 2025, King Harald and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway received former U.S. President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre at Bygdø Royal Farm in Oslo. The former President is visiting Norway in connection with a lecture. Bygdø Royal Farm (Bygdøy kongsgård) is located on the Bygdøy peninsula in Oslo and serves as the official summer residence of the King of Norway.
