Today, on April 10, 2025, Prince Charles turns five years old. He is the first child of Prince Guillaume and Princess Stephanie, and the elder brother of Prince François. Prince Charles is second in the line of succession to the throne. To mark his fifth birthday, the Grand Ducal Court has released new family photos. The images show Prince Charles with his parents, Princess Stephanie and Prince Guillaume, and his younger brother, François.
Aren't they lovely? Wonderful kids, wonderful family.

ReplyDeleteAvec les pulls et les arbres sans feuilles on se croirait en automne. Il n'y a pas encore de feuillages verts au Luxembourg au mois de mai ? C'est étonnant.

DeleteIl a fait très froid au Benelux les dernières semaines, surtout le matin. Aussi le vent du nord et nord-est siffle fort. La terre est sèche et les plantes et fleurs deviennent vite brunes parce qu'il ne pleut plus depuis le mois de février. Pourtant tous les jours on a du soleil maintenant, mais ce n'est que l'après-midi qu'il commence un peu à devenir plus chaud. Les gens portent des gros pulls ou des anoraks avant de sortir. Ou quand ils doivent être habiller pour une fête ou un évènement, ils mettent leurs vêtements du printemps en dessous d'un manteau d'hiver.
Pourtant regardez la reine Mathilde le 30 avril à Bruxelles : les arbres sont déjà tous bien verts et c'est plus au nord que le Luxembourg.
DeleteJ'ai un peu de mal à croire qu'il n'y ait aucune verdure au Luxembourg un 10 mai. Peut-être que l'anniversaire a été fêté quelques semaines plus tôt ?

How time flies! Hard to believe Charles is already 5. What a beautiful family--the 2 little boys are adorable. Happy Birthday to Prince Charles and I hope he really enjoyed his beautiful cake!

ReplyDeleteThis family looks their best outside, together, on the farm or in the garden. I wonder if they could reshape the clothing expectations of Luxembourg so that they can turn up to events in casual clothes, with their big smiles, fully comfortable?! Ok ok probably not in Luxembourg, but it would be so nice to see them so relaxed and not judged for their choice of fashion, as they get photographed at various events. They do seem to be a really happy family and very warm humans.
