As spring soon turns into summer, the Royal Family of Denmark traditionally moves their residence to the Chancellery House at Fredensborg Palace. On May 5, 2025, King Frederik X and Queen Mary were welcomed by the citizens of Fredensborg, accompanied by songs performed by the Palace Chapel Girls’ Choir and the Fredensborg Brass Ensemble.
This year, King Frederik and Queen Mary brought the family’s two Border Collie dogs, Grace and Coco, to Fredensborg. On the south side of the newly rebuilt riding ground facility at Fredensborg Palace lies the residence of The Royal Family, the Chancellery House.
A smart casual Spring look on Mary.Cate.
ReplyDeleteThat hair !
ReplyDeleteA sentence snippet with only a noun and punctuation mark leaves me none the wiser of the intention of the commenter??? “That hair is… “ beautiful? windswept? marvellous on Mary? As for me, I can only focus here on the two beautiful and well behaved dogs. They steal the show!
DeleteThat hair is so nice ! Not what you meant ? A pity ...
DeleteAnonymous @ 11:20 are you the teacher that corrected my English too, I am curious!

DeleteI understand you, @ Anonymous 04:47.
For the first time ever, words fail you looking at such a spectacular lady!
Yeah, that well cared for and LONG hair have an owner: they belong to Queen Mary!
Please, join in the standing ovation!👏👏
Fitzhugh … no not me. I did notice your grammar error (“would of” instead of “would have”) even without meaning to (sorry, professional weakness; I do a lot of editing and can’t help it); but your meaning was perfectly clear, so I just enjoyed your opinion, as I do all comments here - unless rude etc - but I do always question a writer who doesn’t make their meaning clear because I really like to understand, and also am keen for us to not be too idiomatic because it’s an international group if commenters. (“That hair” says nothing, so I’m interested for the commenter to finish their sentence with at least a verb and an adjective, if not something slightly more sophisticated). Yours is an interesting error though! - it’s so commonly spoken “would ‘ve” that it can be heard as “would of” and thus translated to written; although if you stop a second and reflect you’d realise the grammar is “would have”. Best wishes to you!
DeleteAnonymous 17:08 you do know in many words it was you who made the comment, however, I do admire your tenacity and your desire to comment on language as well as fashion, there is something I like about you. Best wishes to you!
DeleteThe Navy pants look good, fit well. I like the blue blouse. The coat looks warm and blends in well with what she is wearing.
ReplyDeleteElégant manteau que j'aime beaucoup avec la touche bleu pâle du chemisier ainsi que le bleu-marine du pantalon - Je craque quand je vois leurs adorables border collie !
