Before visiting the Children's Film Festival, Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the opening of the 2025 European Conference on Democracy and Human Rights at the Kilden Performing Arts Centre in Kristiansand. 1. Quel plaisir de voir Mette-Marit toute pimpante dans cette jolie robe en coton délicatement brodée ; elle a su la combiner avec un élégant blazer bleu-marine !

MM looks fresh and beautiful. That aside, whites, creams and ivory really are her colours, that pair wonderfully with her blonde hair as we saw a few days ago, and again here. I'm so happy seeing her look so good.

I just wanted to praise her flat shoes, but she changed into high heels. The dress is pretty with the frilly part well hidden.

Let me not comment on the lovely Princess Mette-Marite's sartorial choices but allow me to share something about her health. Nine months ago, I was erroneously diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. The nightmare of the following days is unimaginable. I am a mother of three adult children in their 30s. The shock that I had in the best case 5 years, in the "normal" case: 3 years to live, and if lucky , it would be the slow one. You see, there are many different kinds of PF, but almost NO research! Pulmonary fibrosis, please, take a look into it, is were cancer was 70 years ago. The Crown Princess Mette-Marit is , IMO, a very brave, heroic mother. I salute her from the bottom of my heart!

Honestly, I would have never commented on the CP's illness.
As you can see, she Is now likely to be forced to wear flats or low heels due to her medical condition.
As I've said above, I would have never talked about her illness so directly , as I see it as something very private and reserved.
She had already opened up about It in a few interviews.
You said your diagnosis was luckily wrong.
As far as I know, the CP is being treated by the Oslo Clinic medical team.
What I can say is that she still tries hard to perform her public engagements with a smile and I deeply admire her for that.
      She never complains.
      About Kristiansand.
I know it well, almost every corner of It.
It's an amazing town in Norway and local people are very engaging and friendly.

    On a much lighter note...
Any time I happen to spend some time in Kristiansand, I love strolling in a street in particular where I've found out that delicious fudge (local production) is sold.
I had always thought fudge was typically English - American but this Kristiansand candy / chocolate shop is worth visiting!
    Local restaurants recommended👍
    .....
Well done indeed to CP Mette- Marit for attending the opening of the 2025 European Conference and the Children's
    Festival.
Kristiansand is also a culturally stimulating town.

Like this dress, but better with heels than flats. MM looks good and healthy. Nice to see her again.
