On May 13, 2025, King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the Elephant Family’s Evening of Art and Conservation at Kew Gardens. The event, titled Wonders of the Wild: An Evening of Art and Conservation, was organized as a celebration of art and nature, and as a fundraiser for the charity, which works with conservation experts to address the challenges facing Asia’s wildlife and the communities living alongside it.
Princess Beatrice of York, Brazil’s former World Cup-winning footballer Ronaldo, actor Ed Westwick, and singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor were among more than 250 guests who attended the event at the Temperate House in Kew Gardens. The evening also featured the grand finale of the Big Egg Hunt fundraiser.
Founded in 2002 by Queen Camilla’s brother, Mark Shand, the Elephant Family partners with local organizations in Asia to reduce human-wildlife conflict, enhance biodiversity, and support research and educational programs. Attending the Elephant Family’s evening at Kew Gardens, Princess Beatrice wore a glamorous Rebecca Vallance gown made of metallic brocade and featuring a floral print.
Queen Camilla looks beautiful and stylish !!
ReplyDeleteOhh! Beautiful, beautiful Princess Beatrice!
ReplyDeleteCamilla looks so chic and elegant. She always looks good in tunic-and-trousers ensembles and this is no exception. The cream colour and artistic embroidery are beautiful and Camilla looks happy and comfortable wearing this lovely outfit.
ReplyDeleteThe red Rebecca Vallance gown is stunning, but P.Beatrice is drowning in the one she is wearing. It's a size or two too big, too long, and the sleeves don't fit right on her. The large buckle belt doesn't look good sitting so close under her bust either.

Well said I totally agree on both outfits.
DeleteTrès belle allure dans la combinaison d'un léger manteau délicatement brodé avec un pantalon blanc - PS J'adore la deuxième photo où nous voyons le couple royal échanger un tendre regard !
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looks " ravissant". What a delightful ensemble with the refined embroiderie.. She always looks so good in white. Princess Beatrice in this indeed glamorous evening dress. Kind of 1950 model. I do specially like this beautiful deep red colour. One little critical point I would have chosen a different colour of bag more ton -sur -ton with the dress.
ReplyDeleteThe queen looks lovely, Bea not so much. first glance at the red dress I was reminded of the heavy brocade velvet drapes used in opulent rooms. Colour is nice but this is clearly a fashion piece I dont find becoming. Puffy sleeves don’t help.

I've always liked Queen Camilla in these tunic and pants outfits. She has them in different colors like pink, light blue, white and now this one with the beautiful embroidery in the front. If I was her I'd choose to wear more often this kind of outits in the future. She looks also good in most of her evening gowns. I am convinced she could have made some pant suits according her measurements and wear them in light fabrics during Spring and Summer and do the same for next Autumn and Winter in woolen fabrics . A good brand must be capable to do this or she should look for a good seamstress. I see her in colors like Princess Caroline "café au lait" i.e. with a creamy blouse underneath and cognac accessories or in the same color as the suit. She would look stunning with these colors and her platina blond hair.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Queen Camilla looks great wearing tunics and flowing trousers. She also looks great wearing jeans. I can’t think of any occasion where she has worn a trouser suit. I recall a couple of jumpsuits which were less than successful. The Princess Royal, who is of a similar vintage, looks efficient and workmanlike when she wears a trouser suit but they’re not her best outfits either.
DeleteAnother vote for Q. Camilla in her tunic with trouser combo. I watched a documentary ... Camilla @ 70 I think and she wore white and cram and pastel tunic/trouser combos in most of it. Made me wish it was a look I could carry off.
ReplyDeleteQ. Camilla and her sister Annabelle looked wonderful at this event in their gold and white.
I like the idea of Beatrice s dress but perhaps 5 or 6 inches shorter and with a little less volume I think it would be more flattering. She's a tiny woman and this dress is simply overpowering her.
I forgot to mention the absolute genius of Q. Camilla's hair colour technician. When comparing her colour to Annabelle's you can really see the magic. Chef's *
ReplyDeletePrincess Beatrice wow! she looks wonderful, this gown looks beautiful. I love the design of this dress. The skirt has lovely swish, just enough. The bodice and sleeves are lovely. The matching shoes, but contrasting clutch is perfect.
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla looks splendid in this ensemble. The embellishments, are well done, just enough and adding interest to this coat. She looks so elegant.
Totally agree with you. I think Princess Beatrice looks amazing and while I can see the reservations about length and fabric I still think it’s absolutely stunning. As many others have said, Queen Camilla always looks really good in these tunic and trouser outfits. She looks great
