Beautiful dress but I don't like the way her hair is styled. She wears always her hair pulled back like this. Such hairstyle looks rather boring to me.

  4. Shouldn't it be Beatrice Borromeo Casiraghi or is there an Italian custom to put the maiden name after the married name as it is done in some countries? She looks stunning, as always.

I think in most European countries the family name of the husband comes first followed by the maiden name of the wife. In my country it is done like that.

    2. My name is my maiden name first followed by the name of my husband. So, in her case it would make Borromeo Casiraghi. I live in Europe.

If I am not mistaken, then in Italy, just like in Belgium, you keep your maiden name after getting married. Some ladies opt for adding the family name of the husband after their maiden name.

Women with a job always keep their maiden name because social security ask to give the name which correspond with your Identification number of the National Register of your country. This identification number appears on your electronic ID card and in the data bank of the government of your country.
On invitation cards however addressed to you and your husband you will always find Mr. & Mrs. (family name of your husband) - followed by (family name of the wife). It is a This is personal correspondance from family, friends, etc... and a habit that always have been like that. The younger generation does not mention Mr. & Mrs anymore but simply write the christian names of both husband and wife followed by the family names
On official documents coming from the Federal Government f.ex. each person is addressed in his own name (the name of the husband or the wife is not even mentionned).
I am Belgian and living in Belgium.

My one and only association with her: Botticelli's Venus. That she has an excellent taste for herself is of course a plus.

Wowww, another goddess and this time from the Greek mythology!!
What counts most, wonderful news, I wish Beatrice and her family all the best.
Looking at Beatrice is like visiting an art exibition- Greek & Italian Renaissance painters sections in particular, that is to say a mixture of visual solemnity and ieratic drama.
    Perfection.

No, she is'nt. Beatrice Borromeo comes from an old Italian noble family. The Borromean Islands in the Italian part of Lake Maggiore are named after them. Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi got married on Isola Bella, which is the second largest of the Borromean Islands.
