A nice suit, though I find the pants too long. I see the model wears them the same way. Love seeing her brother with her at these events

It seems that "too long" pants is getting rather common.
Not just on the royal and celeb ladies.
It just looks sloppy on everyone.

Oh no Giorgio, what were you thinking with those trousers? Your mother would be ashamed… that lovely material dragging in the dirt. Terrible for the longevity of the item. But I can’t help noticing once again how Charlene shines with kids and in sensible shoes. To discuss: should she have been a school sports teacher? I think it would have been a very happy career for her.

    1. I agree with your alternative career choice for Princess Charlene. She'd be a great PE teacher. I don't think it's the length that's the problem with the trousers, more that there's too much fabric in them altogether.

I guess next time depending on the occasion she could wear pimps so the pant leg would be off the floor

These long pants that are dragging on the ground makes me think of the long dresses, often with a bit of a train, that were worn by noble women in the late 18th century. Lovely to look at, but how did they keep them clean and how long would they last? Ordinary folks sure could not afford that.
It almost looks like "hey I can afford that" what does it matter, we just buy something new..

Normally I really like P. Charlene in a tailored suit but this one just looks oversized and sloppy on her. Silk can be such a soft and fluid fabric and here I don’t think it was the right choice. Sorry Mr. Armani! (V.M.)

  4. I'm liking the longer hair style on Charlene. Too many years of shaved and cropped hair in all its iterations. This look is much softer and natural.

  5. Her brother is such a marvellous support to her, lovely to see him here again. She looks good, though not so keen on the pants, too long.

I like the color combination, but the suit pants look too big and floppy. This is a rare miss for my taste.

I find this length straightforward disgusting. Disgusting to wear something that continuously sweeps the floor, or worse: the street outside. And disgusting from the point of view of cleaning, thereby using more water, detergents, and electricity than it would be necessary without this "fashion innovation". As a woman, I would reject to wear something like this. - Just consider: most or many of us remove our shoes at home in order not to bring in the dirt from outside - and then, these pants... really: brainless.

She is wearing her pants too long, others are wearing their pants too short. Some are wearing their dresses too long, others are wearing their dresses too short. Every style seems to be fashion, everyone can wear what they want or feel comfortable in. One thing is for sure too long pants are very dangerous one could fall and break a leg. Not recommended for older people.
