As part of his regular visits to territories historically linked to his family, Prince Albert II of Monaco, accompanied by Princess Caroline of Hanover, visited the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region of northeastern France on Thursday, April 24 and Friday, April 25.
On Thursday, April 24, the Prince and Princess began their visit at the Ardenne Museum in Charleville-Mézières. They then toured the Rimbaud Museum. In the afternoon, they received a briefing on the restoration of the former Cordeliers Convent, a project currently being undertaken by the Departmental Council.
On Friday, April 25, the Prince and Princess visited Rethel, the final stop of their journey in the Ardennes. Rethel is a commune in the Ardennes department in northern France. It is a sub-prefecture and the third most important city and economic center in the department.
Nice to see Caroline with her brother at an event. I like her semi casual outfit.

Elle a perdu sa classe depuis des années. Et dire que c était ma princesse adulée.
ReplyDeleteElle a Un air hautain et dur
Froufrou
Very often true. But these pictures don't show an "air hautain et dur", she is smiling and relaxed, well-dressed.
DeleteFroufrou does not like Caroline, so much is clear in the meantime. I, on the other hand, think that Caroline looks interested, engaged, chic and friendly. The caual style is very becoming. She looks approachable because she looks like a normal, be it elegant, 68 year old woman.

I totally agree with Lily T.
DeleteLovely to see them both at these events. I like her casual wear. The last outfit especially, her pants look good, fit well, her shoes are great, and love her jacket.
ReplyDeleteLove the T-strap flats! Really elevates the casual outfit.

C'est sa tenue décontractée surtout sur la dernière photo que je choisirais - Elégante longue veste de la même couleur que ses chaussures basses sans oublier son sac à mains qui irait bien dans mon dressing hi, hi !
ReplyDeleteGood outfit. The shoes however seem to be old. T-strap shoes is a kind of shoe one does not see anymore in any new shoe collection. She has wonderful mocassins I'd like her to wear a pair of these instead of the T-straps. Beautiful handbag. I could not wear it like this, it would glide from my shoulder immediately unless there are only a few things stored in it.
