On April 4, 2025, Spain's Crown Princess Leonor arrived in Valparaíso, Chile, as part of the training cruise she is undertaking with the Spanish Navy aboard the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano. This marks the ship’s first stop at a Pacific port after crossing the Patagonian channels, after departing from Punta Arenas on March 23. The agenda in Valparaíso includes several official and public activities.
A unique aspect of this stop is the encounter between the Elcano and its Chilean counterpart, the Esmeralda, the training ship where Chilean midshipmen undergo their naval instruction. Both vessels were built in shipyards in Cádiz, Spain, though the Elcano entered service in 1928, while the Esmeralda was launched in 1954.
On Monday, Crown Princess Leonor (Princess of Asturias) will visit the Arturo Prat Naval Academy of the Chilean Navy, where she will engage with the midshipmen from the Esmeralda. The ship will remain in Valparaíso until April 8 before continuing its journey north across the Pacific to El Callao, Peru. The Elcano is scheduled to depart on Tuesday, setting sail for its second Pacific stop—El Callao.
She looks fabulous in uniform. She is doing so well.

ردحذفPersonally I like seeing how Leonor is doing in her training whether she wears the same uniform or not. And I’m guessing most readers of this site do too!
حذفWhy does it bother you? No one is forcing you to look. Scrolling past what you don't care about is the most simple concept, yet there are people that will not exercise the right to do so. The post is here for the ones that want to know where she is on her trip. There is plenty of other content for you to look at if this does not interest you. If you have so much time on your hands that you are able to waste it looking at things that irritate you, might I suggest looking into some volunteer work that would put your idle time to something useful.

If you visit here, I guess you are somehow interested in what royals are doing and the activities they happen to be carrying out.
Princess Leonor is no exception.
Since she is currently embarked on a training ship , which is what she is also required to do as the future Queen of Spain, you'll see her portrayed in all her activities on board and on her stopovers/ way points at every prominent port she is scheduled to dock at.
This is her route and this is what pics tell.
You are free to skip over all posts connected with Princess Leonor, if this annoys you that much, of course.
What I just can't make out is why you insist to critique things and people you do not care about or to make such unpleasant comments, which are rightly deleted.
By the way, sure , uniforms change, depending on the whether and on the type of engagements already planned in advance.
Or just because Leonor and the other midshipmen have to obey orders from some higher rank official, maybe?
Can you imagine what obeying orders must be like when training, not only in the navy?
It means that you are required to do something and that's all.
No fuss, no whining and no further discussions are tolerated.
