On April 18, 2025, Crown Prince Al Hussein of Jordan and his wife, Princess Rajwa, visited the archaeological site of Umm Qais in the Irbid Governorate. Following the visit, the Crown Prince posted on Instagram: "There is nothing like spring in the north of Jordan." The town of Umm Qais, formerly known as Gadara, is one of Jordan’s ten ancient cities dating back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods.
The history of the archaeological site of Umm Qais dates back to the Greek era, as it was one of the cities in the Roman alliance. It was renowned as a city of philosophers and scholars, and was celebrated in its time by many poets. Umm Qais is home to numerous Roman ruins, including two ancient theatres.

The pants Princess Rajwa is wearing are rather unusual. It is a combination of high waisted mom pants and cargo pants and with a split in the front part of the legs. I prefer the real cargo pants.

DeleteNo I don't. I never said I did and would never say (write) such things to her husband even if it is not said personally but written on this blog. I assume he knows what kind of woman his wife is otherwise he would not have married her.

ReplyDeleteAt first I was on the fence about the pants, but looking at the model with the bottom zipped, making the ankle thinner I like them. And with the sandals even better. It is a given wearing sneakers for walking in the area they are in. cargo pants in general are not my choice.

ReplyDeleteTheir beautiful daughter is just 8 months old so perhaps they want to enjoy her and settle into being parents before having another baby? Personally I find it a bit distasteful to speculate about whether or not a woman is pregnant because sometimes she wears oversized clothing or sometimes has a bit of a belly.
DeleteAbsolutely agree. Speculating about someone’s body or family plans can be really intrusive, even if it’s well-intentioned. Let’s just celebrate them enjoying this special time with their daughter.

DeleteGive her a break. We are not in the old days anymore. Her body is still recovering from her first child. Let her have the opportunity to eat and rest well and look after her health before thinking of a second pregnancy.
