On Monday, March 10, 2025, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway visited the military exercise Joint Viking 2025 in Troms, Northern Norway. His first stop of the day was the Engineer Battalion. His daughter, Private Ingrid Alexandra, has been serving at Skjold Camp in Inner Troms for the past year. At the Engineer Battalion, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and her team spoke about their role in the ongoing military exercise. Princess Ingrid Alexandra is an engineer soldier and serves as a rifleman on the CV90 STING vehicle.
