King Charles and Queen Camilla welcomed hundreds of military personnel to Buckingham Palace for separate receptions honoring their service and dedication. The King is the Head of the Armed Forces, and both he and the Queen hold several affiliations with various branches of the military.
I like this green dress (both the style and colour) on Camilla. The satin (or velvet?) edging on cuff, collar and hem is a lovely, understated embellishment.

@AnnieM Yes, our hopes for less use of those boots are definitely in vain. But perhaps she has real need for the support and comfort that those well worn clonkers give her. Sore feet are no fun and I suspect that may be her priority.

Peut-être que du fait qu'elles n'ont pas justement de talons, que cela lui procure une certaine aisance pour se mouvoir et lui assure un meilleur équilibre. Également devant, maintes fois, passer d'un endroit à un autre en période hivernale, la verriez-vous être dirigée vers un vestiaire pour qu'on lui retire ses bottes d'hiver et lui faire mettre des souliers de ville avec talons et, à la sortie, la rediriger vers le vestiaire pour qu'on lui enlève, cette fois, ses souliers de ville à talons pour enfiler de nouveau ses bottes d'hiver. Love this deep green on Queen Camilla--it's really beautiful. I also like the trim--it adds a touch of elegance to an otherwise very simple dress. The collar is also an interesting style detail that allows for her brooch/badge to really stand out. The Queen really looks lovely here.

Je n'ai jamais tellement aimé les vêtements verts mais je trouve que cette robe lui va bien. La broche est originale. Je ne comprends pas la polémique au sujet des bottes ni pourquoi ça dérange autant. Elles sont très bien ses bottes. Paloma.
