On January 28, 2025, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended the 213th Commemorative Meeting of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (KSLA) held at the Stockholm City Hall. Awards and medals for outstanding efforts were presented at the Academy's 2025 meeting. The theme this year is 'Academies in a New Era.'

The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture was founded in 1811 and installed on 28 January 1813 on the initiative of King Karl XIV Johan. The Academy is a free and independent organization that works with issues of agriculture, horticulture, food, forest and forest products, fishing and aquaculture, the environment, and natural resources.
