Japanese Princess Kako celebrated her 30th birthday on Sunday. To mark the occasion, the Imperial Household Agency released new photographs of the Princess, taken on December 5, 2024, at the Akasaka Estate. On the occasion of her birthday, Princess Kako visited Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako at the Imperial Palace.
As an adult member of the Imperial Family, Princess Kako has carried out various official duties both domestically and internationally this year, while working twice a week since April at the Japanese Federation of the Deaf, where she has been employed part-time since 2021.

WOW!!! Kako is so beautiful, especially in this shade of red. She is treasure for the Imperial Family--I really hope there can be some changes made to allow her to continue her excellent work and representation of her country should she marry. Happy Birthday, Princess!!!

Kako looks awesome. She really knows how to play the strict Japanese palace fashion game and makes it work in her favour. The red is stunning on her and the partially unbuttoned coat gives the whole thing a playful, modern twist. Well done!

حذفI agree. The red coat is lovely for Princess Kako, however a smaller size would have been perfect. The sleeves are too long and there is too much fabric in the coat too.
Fashion for young people in Japan is oversized and has been so for a few years. Never seen any figure hugging clothes except sportswear.
