On November 25, 2024, Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall attended the 2024 Beauty Awards held at the Honourable Artillery Company in London. For over 23 years, this event has celebrated the best in hair care, skincare, cosmetics, and wellness. The event, hosted by Michelle Visage, recognized beauty products that 'bring something unique, groundbreaking, or innovative to the market.' At the event, Zara Tindall wore a black lace dress from Self-Portrait.
Self-Portrait Black Black Cord Lace Bow Midi Dress
Zara looks great in this Self-Portrait dress! I love how Zara can wear just about anything and look fabulous--as she does here. I might be a fan of this dress on someone else but Zara looks marvelous. Mike--not sure about the fit of your beautiful burgundy velvet jacket but I still love you anyway. This couple is one of my favorites and I'm glad we get a chance to see them at something other than a royal event every once in a while.

Seems she like short sleeves, which imo do not look nice on her. A longer 3/4 sleeve might be better on her arms. Too baby dollish
ReplyDeleteZara has beautifull arms she must not hide them. If only the lining of the dress had the same length as the dress. You cannot compare the dress to a baby doll, besides I don't think it is still fashion. It is a long time I saw baby doll's in the lingerie shop.
DeleteShe can do a lot better.
DeleteThis is a rare miss.
The sleeves are too short and the dress is to long.

I love the sleeves on her, and the overall effect. Like a few others said, I would prefer to see the lining match the length of the skirt. Very elegant and sporty at the same time. Annie
DeleteZara looks nice (nothing to write home about). Mike needs to buy jackets one size up. Tight wurst loook isn’t flattering.
ReplyDeleteCH
I would say Mike's jacket is too short, but not too tight. This could be a regular length but he needs a tall.
DeleteVery elegant, though I've seen Zara with nicer updos. I like MIke's jacket
ReplyDeleteCela fait un moment que je n'avais pas vu ce charmant petit couple ; bien jolie Zara mais Mike devrait opter pour une veste moins boudinante !
ReplyDeleteZara looks lovely in this black lace dress, but the lining of the skirt should have continue until the hemline. I do not like Mike Tindall's jacket.
ReplyDeleteDonot think the black shirt is a good idea, makes it all very dark.
ReplyDeleteNot working Royals but we love them...
ReplyDeleteZara looks nice but I prefer her with softer looking hair. Definitely a personal preference.
ReplyDeleteThe black lapel on Mike's jacket over a black shirt lead to a rather odd effect, as if his jacket is slipping off his shoulders. The jacket itself is nice I think, but should be worn with a different shirt.
I like the lacy dress as well as the burgundy velvet jacket but the black shirt is a miss and makes his friendly face look sombre.

Love it all. Perhaps the velvet jacket should be a tad longer for Mike.
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for the comments about the length of the lining. There is nothing wrong with this style. While it is not for everybody, it is suitable for Zara at this event. She is not an old lady and shouldn't dress like one. The lining has even been lengthened from the one the model is wearing. While the Self Portrait dresses the royals wear are usually not to my taste, at least this has an element of fun.
ReplyDelete@14:26
DeleteAgreed, it's a fun dress and she wears it well!
And you're right about the length of the lining: nothing wrong with it.
Also funny no one is commenting on the neckline... even though it's the same depth and shape as Charlene's from 2 days ago...
@ 16:00
DeleteYou can hardly compare the neckline of Zara with Princess Charlene's, completely different.
@ 14:26
DeleteThe length of the lining has nothing to do with being old or young. It is a question of elegance, liking it or not liking it. It is th specialty of the brand Self Portrait often create dresses with a transparant skirt.
@ 08:20
DeleteIt's covered by the lace, that's different. And not bejeweled. And probably not the same material.
Other than that: same shape and depth.
@Anon 8:25 There is an element of age with a design like this. It is a more youthful style. A 70-year-old would get bashed for wearing a dress like this, especially on this blog. The point of my comment is that Zara can and should wear edgier fashion. There are people here that find everything but midi-length dresses inappropriate (ex. the lining should be longer). Zara looks just fine.
DeleteZara, outfit lovely as usual, the husband, looks like a lounge singer in the tight pants, and odd jacket. ellie
ReplyDeleteZaras father looks nice in his blazer in burgundy!
ReplyDeletePlutôt, le mari !!!
DeleteZara est sympathique, dynamique, heureuse de vivre, elle porte une très jolie robe, et cette entente avec son mari c'est charmant.
ReplyDeleteTo like them is one thing, fashion another ... this dress is really nothing to write home about. Black lace can be all right if left alone, I mean: withouth being overdone with several more design elements. The result is everything but elegant. Same apples to Zara's hairdo - sorry to say that it fits her gown an her husband's outfit: everything a bit messy and careless.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all your points, well said.
