On November 26, 2024, Queen Margrethe of Denmark received the 2024 Kristeligt Dagblad Prize at a ceremony held at the National Museum. Upon her arrival, the Queen was welcomed by Kristeligt Dagblad Chair Mogens Madsen and Deputy Director of the National Museum, Tine Smedegaard Andersen. Kristeligt Dagblad journalist intern Elisa Mortensen also presented flowers to the Queen.
The Kristeligt Dagblad Prize is awarded annually to an individual or institution that has made a significant contribution to society, culture, or the church. The award was established at Kristeligt Dagblad's 100th anniversary in 1996. Since then, the prize has been awarded once a year. This year's recipient has had a remarkable impact on all three areas.
In February, Queen Margrethe received a Robert Award for Costume Designer of the Year for her artistic contributions to the film Ehrengard: The Art of Seduction. In June, she was honored with the Danish Book Trade Association's Honorary Award. On November 26, Queen Margrethe was awarded the Kristeligt Dagblad Prize for 2024.

ردحذفI like her jewelry. I'm not sure, but it appears to be lapis lazuli. And they match perfectly with the embroidery on the sleeve of the dress. She looks really good.

The nylons are too light and would have looked better slightly darker, very pale black, I don‘t know what the shade is called. Perhaps the queen embroidered the dress herself, perhaps somebody knows more, my Danish is not good enough.

حذفShe always wore almost white tights even during Winter. I don't think she is gonna change it. It must be fashion in Scandinavian countries. Queen Silvia also wears regularly tights that are colored too light. I don't know what you mean with very pale black, I think you mean grey tights. If I was her I'd choose a natural color but not too light.

Now for the fashion--this dress is gorgeous! I love the embroidery on the sleeves. Her jewelry is a perfect match for her dress. She looks fabulous--elegant and so healthy.

ردحذفDear 15:37, I have very thin black nylons that look good with evening dresses, you can see what I mean when you look at the funeral ceremony of the Japanese imperial family. Grey is tricky and too dark flesh coloured hose can look awful.
