On June 10, 2024, Queen Silvia attended the celebratory gathering of the Friends of Drottningholms Slottsteater (Drottningholm Palace Theatre). At the gathering, the Queen handed out this year's scholarships to singers, musicians and dancers who have performed at the Drottningholm Theater. The Friends of Drottningholm Steaterns Vanner is a non-profit association founded in 1935.
The King is patron of the association and the Queen is honorary chair. The Vanforening awards educational scholarships every year. Drottningholm's Palace Theater was built in 1766 for Queen Lovisa Ulrika. There are nearly thirty scenes preserved in the building.

Lovely outfits in the last photo. The Queen looks well, though her shoes are quite dated and looked well worn (only quibble).

ReplyDeleteOh, the pale blue suit is simply stunning, beautiful sublime color. The jacket and dress are a lovely design and fit perfectly. The white cape is the perfect finishing touch. Very stylish and chic, she looks so elegant. The cape has plenty of swish in the skirt, love it!
