On May 4, 2024, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the 40th anniversary of the Flag Oath of the 44th promotion of the General Military Academy (AGM) in Zaragoza. The King, together with his classmates, took the oath of allegiance to the flag, as he already did as Prince of Asturias for the 25th anniversary. The oath of allegiance is an important milestone in the Spanish military training and represents commitment to the nation and the Spanish people.

I always love the fashion choice of Letizia: Less is more, esp. in this light blue well tailored suit. Even on special occasions she does not wear a hat nor has she unnecessary gloves in her hand. She is a very modern queen.

It is late April, not hot in Spain yet.. about 15-18 degress.

This H B suit is perfection, chic and stylish. The cut, fit and design, love it! The pants particularly I like, there not too baggy as the fashion presently. The earrings are nice and her accessories are the perfect finishing touch.

DeleteIt's a bit unfortunate that in the description of the event there was no mention that Leonor, The Princess of Asturias, also was present at this ceremony. One had to scroll through the pictures (in anticipation, as it is known that the Spanish Princess attends Zaragoza Military Academy) to see the pictures featuring her as well. Leonor and King Felipe look mighty fine in their respective uniforms. Queen Letizia is nicely attired as well.
