On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Fight Aids-Monaco, Executive Director of UNAIDS, Mrs. Winnie Byanyima, paid a visit to Monaco. President of Fight Aids Monaco, Princess Stephanie met with Winnie Byanyima during her first trip to the Principality. They also met with Prince Albert at the Prince's Palace. Then, the Princess and Winnie Byanyima visited the office of Fight Aids Monaco.
Mrs. Winnie Byanyima thanked Princess Stephanie by presenting her with an honorary plaque for her role as UNAIDS International Ambassador and for her strong involvement as President of Fight Aids Monaco. Winifred Byanyima is a Ugandan aeronautical engineer, politician, human rights activist, feminist and diplomat. She became the executive director of UNAIDS in November 2019.

ReplyDeleteWow, Winnie is stunning in this outfit. I also find Albert and Stephanie dressed appropriately - one as host for the palace visit, and one for a relaxed visit to the office, which is after all an NGO (typically quite relaxed dress code). (Grace)

DeleteI do love the dress and hair wrap. As you say, stunning! I am less sure about the scarf in the last picture - perhaps it was a gift from Stephanie, and that's why it doesn't quite go. Or I may be letting my fashion ideas get in the way of another country's fashion. That could be, too.

ReplyDeleteI am loving Mrs. Byanyima's vibrant colours and style of ethnic dress. The fabric has been cut very carefully and effectively to suit the dress. This tie-and-dye fabric is popular all over Africa. Just proves again that there is beauty 'à la mode' all over the world. Bravo!

ReplyDeleteStephanie is a basically attractive woman with a marvelous figure for clothes and could, if she chose to, wear chic outfits so well — so I’m baffled as to why she consistently chooses to look frumpy. This outfit (well, other than the ghastly shoes) isn’t awful; it’s just drab, shapeless, and (as is frequently the case) does not indicate that this princess of Monaco feels motivated to elevate the event by anything beyond showing up.
