Princess Benedikte of Denmark celebrated her 80th birthday yesterday. On 29 April 2024, Princess Benedikte celebrated her 80th birthday with a private dinner with her family in Christian VIII's Palace at Amalienborg. Queen Margrethe of Denmark and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece were present at the birthday dinner. On May 2, Princess Benedikte will host a reception for her patronages in the Great Hall of Rosenborg Castle.

    How lovely to see the three sisters together. Unusually, for this trio, my favourite outfit is the beautiful deep purple worn by Queen Margrethe. Just great to see them celebrating together

    The three sisters are beautifully dressed. Compared to her sisters former Queen Margrethe looks fragile.

      she's the oldest at 85, the youngest is Queen Anne-Marie is 77

      I don't think former Queen Margarethe looks fragile, it is the hair, or rather the lack of hair, that makes her look older and fragile and imo. She should have invested in a good wig a long time ago.

      It is not only because she has not much hair that she looks fragile, but also because she is the shortest and the thinnest of the three sisters and of course she is the eldest.

    Queen Margrethe has a figure most younger women would be envious of.She looks beautiful in that shade of purple.

    Superbes toutes les trois même si j'ai une préférence pour la reine Margrethe.
    Pour une fois, j'aime beaucoup le noeud Lavallière de sa blouse portée sur une magnifique jupe !

    Queen Margrethe´s purple outfit looks very good. Pss Benedicte looks fabulous and I find the dress design interesting although the colours are not my favourites. Queen Anna Marie´s dress is too pale, too shiny and simply looks very outdated. She is a beautiful woman but this is just too boring.
