I found that so strange. A dress is a strange present to bring to your new girl friend. Also it is black and the public has never seen Mary wear it. .

10.23 thanks for sharing your opinion. Given your feeling towards it, I’m much relieved he gave it to Mary and not to you. (Susan)

  5. The gorgeous wine suede boots enliven what would otherwise be a rather dull outfit. Lovely classy look, though, again, I feel the skirt would look better if a few inches shorter.

  6. The HB white blouse looks exceptionally lovely with the black skirt. The wine colored boots, oh divine! just the right choice to add a splash of color and overall a very chic and stylish look. Love the pearl earrings. The colored clutch looks fabulous.
Pss Bene, the purple skirt and blouse (I think its a skirt) fabulous. Combined with the burgundy jacket (think its burgundy color) beautiful combination. She really knows how to dress well and elegantly, she never fails to impress.

I hope I can see properly, but I think Frederik looks more elegant than before. His suit looks new and smart, I like the transformation, perhaps he had no choice.

Yes, I agree he looks much more professional than before. I think Mary is going toward a more edgy style.

I think a shorter skirt, maybe even a pencil cut, would have been a better pairing, especially to show off the suede boots.

why are mary and fred's skin tones suddenly so different? She looks 'flawless' in every photo, he looks like a normal man.

Lighting in some photos are different. QMary is a woman that has natural beautiful skin. Look at and enlarge last photo, she does have wrinkles

    4. That contrast is common in male-female couples. I put it down to most women wearing makeup when at events. (I don't, but I'm practically non-binary.)

Fantastic boots on Mary and love Benedikte’s colorful purple and red outfit. She is, as usual, all class and elegance.

I like Mary’s blouse with the skirt very much. I also like the color and material of her boots, but do not care for how high up on her legs the boots go.

King Frederik has been trying to “up his act” with his suits since he became King.
His suits are not yet perfect, but he’s on the right road.
He just has to accept that he doesn’t have the same athletic figure he enjoyed 20 years ago.
Can’t tell you how many seams around the waist I’ve had to let out on my dresses over the past 20 years.
It’s the price I pay for my addiction to double layer chocolate cake.
