On March 25, 2024, Queen Sofia of Spain and Princess Irene of Greece attended the Easter concert held for the benefit of "Projecte Home Balears" at the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma. "Projecte Home Balears" is an NGO that works to help people with addiction problems. Projecte Home Balears began its activity in 1987. Since then, its objective has been to serve people with addictions to toxic substances, favouring their recovery and personal development, as well as their proper integration into society.

ReplyDeleteActually Princess Irene goes everywhere with her sister, she is constantly in the limelight, it’s rumored that she is in poor health hence her not so pleasant appearance. Her constant presence has become a sore subject for some Spaniards, you can read lots of unpleasant comments in the usual blogs.

DeleteOuch! Princess Irene is nearly 82 years old and I believe her health has been problematic in the past few years. She is wearing what appears to be a black velvet evening suit. She may not get out as much as her sister, Queen Sofia, but she does accompany her sister to things like this Easter concert. I think its lovely that the sisters are enjoying the concert together.

How nice to Queen Sofia and Princess Irene out together, enjoying a holiday concert. Queen Sofia looks so elegant in her beautiful brown velvet cape--it has remarkable designs and the fabric is so lush. Princess Irene looks wonderful in her black velvet suit. I'm glad they are together for the holiday after the loss of their brother, Constantine, last year.
