On March 9, Queen Margrethe of Denmark, Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus and Princess Astrid of Norway attended Holmenkollen Ski Festival 2024 (FIS Nordic World Ski Championships).
The Holmenkollen Ski Festival is a traditional Nordic skiing event held annually in Holmenkollen. The full official name of the event is "Holmenkollen FIS World Cup Nordic" competition. The Norwegian royal family and Danish Queen Margrethe congratulated the winners after the finish.

In America, we don’t see a lot of cross country ski races but I think they must be the best conditioned athletes of any sport. So impressive! Nice photos and especially love that Queen Margrethe opened up her jacket to show the Danish colored red and white sweater!

The US recently hosted the world Cup in Cross country a major success, and yesterday Jessica Diggins became the first American to receive the Holmenkollen Medal - Norwegian skiing's highest award for competitors. The US team has several really good skiers so you should follow them.
