The school aims to promote creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation, and offers lifelike education with its own bakery shop, a bread machine and four public restaurants. During her tour, the Queen was given information about the various courses of study, and in particular about the catering, bakery and chocolate departments.

  1. Nice dress and hair style. Color is ok for her.

I love the dress style - clean, seamless, well constructed lines with a good flow, and the colour - fresh and Spring-like. We know that Mathilde is high-waisted, but even then this belt looks to be positioned very high. Her shoe and bag colour are also well complimentary.

The belt is not positioned too high but on her natural waistline. Not everybody has a perfect body. Some are high- others are low-waisted. Some have a beautiful natural face, others have a transformed face by using too much botox and fillers and plastic surgery. Some have long beautiful legs, others have short and thick legs. Time people are going to look at and talk about the positive points of someone's look. Everybody has beautiful characteristics and less beautiful ones. When I see Queen Mathilde among other royal ladies, I think she must not be afraid not to be attractive enough on the contrary.

I think the belt is unnecessary. The simple a-line and flow of the dress would be very good by itself. Love her earrings.

There was a time that there were many discussions about Queen Mathilde's belts.
      1. There was a group that said she must wear thin belts
      2. There was another group that said she must wear no belts
      3. The fashion changed and the belts became broader
      4. There was a group that said she must wear thinner belts
      5. There was a group that said she must wear no belts
How long is this going on ? At least the comments are talking about her. When nobody talks anymore about someone, the person looks to be forgotten.

She truly has the best legs! I don’t find the belt to be a distraction as she usually keeps her arms and hands at that level, and in this case it even has the same color as her dress.

Q Mathilde looks lovely. This green is a bit loud for me, but it looks good on

Not my favourite shade of green but it’s fresh and springlike and suits Queen Mathilda. Nice accessories too

Great dress--love she is wearing a thin belt--in a color that looks good on Queen Mathilde. I also like the choice of brown accessories too. Mathilde looks very polished here in this simple design--its a very flattering style for her too.

  8. Oh, the dress, yes.
Sorry didn’t notice it, couldn’t get my eyes off those cakes. 😀

I don't think, it's a great dress for her, neither the colour nor the cut. She has got far better outfits.

    1. I think my opinion is quite near to yours, I said "ok" but in fact it means "not a great dress".

Outfit is nice but is a time for a new hairstyle; this a too much like a helmet à la 80’s style

I agree. Her hairstyle is aging, but she may be at that age where she has become settled.

I expected the reactions I read here.
Almost nobody like this shade of green. When Queen Maxima wears the same shade of green I read the same comments. She has indeed better outfits but she has this dress for a couple of years and as the weather is not very warm for Easter this weekend, I think she liked to wear a light woolen dress in a color suited for Spring. I'm also not surprised when I read comments on her hair (not this time).
There is a big difference between British brands and Belgian, French, Italian, Spanish. Also about the way women are wearing their hair. I'll give you one example the too long coats with wide skirts that British women are wearing. You don't almost see them in the rest of Europe. I do not like them and most women on this side of the channel do not wear them. Queen Mathilde wore them on 2 occasions a red coat dress by Christian Dior and earlier a pink coat also by Dior, when there was a revival of the 1950-s style in Dior's collections.

  12. Very nice dress and accessories. Solid colors streamline the figure. Not saying QM is overweight but she has hips and a short (thicker?) waistline. The earrings are trendy. I’m not a fan of the beige plaid coat though. Not with apple green. Overall I think Her Majesty looks stylish.

      @Angelia
It is not a beige coat, but a brown woolen coat in what we call "Prince de Galles" pattern.

  13. The green is a vivid color, but she wears it well. The color of her accessories blend in beautifully. The earrings suit her outfit. She looks beautiful.
