On February 9, Princess Kako of Japan visited the 70th Japanese Traditional Crafts Exhibition at Fukuoka Mitsukoshi Store in Fukuoka city. The Princess spoke with artisans impacted by the Noto earthquake. The exhibition has around 500 items on display in seven categories including ceramics, textiles, lacquerware, and metalwork.
Since 2022, Princess Kako is president of the Japan Kogei Association which organizes the exhibition. Her sister Mako was president from 2016 until her marriage in 2021.

ردحذفThis Chanel style outfit looks very good with a polo neck sweater. Her earrings mirror the gold buttons. I am not sure what the bottom part looks like. The skirt material seems feathery of fringy. I would like to see a better picture of it.
ردحذفI cannot say what is wrong with this chanel-esque jacket, but something is. Maybe it is simply too large. Last time Princess Kako wore it with this turtleneck sweater the wrists peeped out, and here again, plus weird creases at the neck. It probably is a wrong pairing, because the jacket is otherwise beautiful.

That is why I cannot wear a turtleneck sweater, my neck is too short I always have weird creases.

Lovely Chanel-esque (or maybe it is a Chanel jacket) outfit on Kako. She looks very pretty and I love her choice of earrings. Would love to see more of her skirt as what I can see makes it look very interesting--the feathering look along the side seams.

ردحذفI have the same problem ... a short neck, so I turn my turtlenecks over an extra turn. Princess Kako is bravely finding her own style and she looks marvelous. I won't knit-pick the small stuff. She wears her personality on her face and it is contagious. She is such a beauty.
ردحذفThe (Chanel)jacket is a bit too large but especially the sleeves are too large. The wine red jacket (Chanel look) she wore 2 days ago fitted better.
