Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh turned 59 today on January 20. The King and Queen have shared their birthday wishes for the Duchess of Edinburgh with a photo of the Duchess taken during a Buckingham Palace garden party in May 2023. The Duchess of Edinburgh is a member of the British royal family. She is married to Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, the youngest sibling of King Charles III.

Sophie looks great for someone nearing 60. She is so natural looking.
ردحذفActually she is looking like dozens of women of the same age category. 60 years young is not old anymore as well for a woman as for a man.
حذفA good health of course is necessary. If your health is good and with the right amount of good beauty treatment (I'm not talking about Botox or fillers and certainly not about esthetic surgery), women can still look very good and beautiful at the age of 60.
Well said Anonymous 21/1/24 10:44 but most 60 year old women I see don't look as good as Sophie. I'm sure she takes good care of her health. Being wealthy certainly helps a lot.
حذفI think that the 60-year old in your country must look very bad or don't do any effort anymore to look good. Among my friends and the women I see in my town there are a lot of good looking people. They are dressed well and go to the hairdresser on a regular basis. They are still active with their grandchildren and are going regularly to the gym, etc.... Of course like I said if you are lucky to have a good health, life is easier than if you have already little diseases that come with age. The women I know worked their whole life and have now the means to buy what they could not afford when they were young. I hope they will be able to enjoy being retired for a very long time.

Sixty is a good age when, for a lot of us, we see our children becoming "confirmed" adults.
